This is one of my very earliest paintings in the series, in which I have retouch the head to high detail.  I am very impressed with Golden Acrylics oil substitute paint , OPEN, which finished this marvelously.  I have always liked the look of oils, but oil painting just doesn’t fit into my habit of posting up in public to paint.  OPEN has a drying time on par with oil and allows wet on wet applications, but I don’t choke out people sitting at the coffeehouse, unintentionally.  The intentional choking out of coffeehouse dwellers now is my primary focus.
